Covid-19 Safety from 19 July 2021
Covid-19 Safety from 19 July 2021
- Screening participants for Covid-19 symptoms or a positive test result.
- Limiting numbers to allow 2m between all students in the hall.
- Opening windows to promote ventilation.
- Providing hand sanitiser and alcohol wipes to sanitise boots, gloves, and equipment between uses.
- Selecting appropriate exercises and techniques.
- Limiting time spent in contact training, and limiting number of contact training partners, to reduce risk of transmission.
- Keeping the required track and trace information.
- Informing you if you have been in close contact with anyone who subsequently develops symptoms or gets a positive test result.
- Continuing to offer the usual First Aid where required. (NB we aim to wear gloves and a mask, or offer you the chance to self-treat under guidance, but this may not always be possible).
- Confirm you have not had a positive Covid-19 test result or Covid-19 symptoms – or close contact with anyone with either of these – in the 10 days prior to training.
- Arrive changed where possible to limit time in the changing area.
- Wait outside when early for class.
- Respect 2m distancing on arrival and in changing areas.
- Wash hands at the outside water station before coming indoors.
- Wear a mask in other indoor spaces (e.g. toilets and corridors).
- Check-in to the NHS app on arrival if you wish.
- Place bags where directed so we can prevent crowding when fetching water, etc.
- Sanitise boots and gloves when directed, and at any other time you wish to.
- Tell us immediately if you get any Covid-19 symptoms or a positive test result after training, so that any contact partners can get tested and isolate.
