London Savate Review of the Year and Awards 2025

We impressed in Birmingham in November against other GB teams and against BFC Calais, with successful debuts, ring returns and a really strong outing for London Savate. See videos of the full fights

We got onto the podium. All 3 team GB athletes won Bronze Medals at the European Assaut Championships in Weiz in September. James Southwood, London Savate coach; James Antill and Louisa Furniss from Guildford Savate who prepared with us in London for the event.

We achieved dreams. Lise Bremer from Denmark is a London Savate online member and made her European debut at the European Assaut Championships in Weiz in September.

We passed new grades in May and December, with 4 Blue, 2 Green, 3 Red Glove, 2 White Glove in 2025. The technical standard keeps rising! Well done Ally and Ben on highest awarded grades of the year.

We won medals at the British Championships in Cambridge in April. 2 Champions, 3 Vice Champions See full results. Great way to show our quality!

We received guests! Paname Club came for an evening of sparring in May. In 2025 we have had visitors train with us from France, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and more.

Referees and judges from London Savate officiated at the European Championships in September. In June, Ally Sinyard passed her international qualification with a score of 100%!

We expanded! Kevin Truesdale, who trained for 9 years at London Savate, opened a club in Edinburgh in summer 2025. Proud of you Kevin. Let’s plan a club visit soon!
