Today we are building the foundations of our combination fighting using sequences of punches, kicks, defences, and feints.
Combinations which utilise many different heights are useful for disrupting an opponent, scoring points, improving our variety and flexibility. This class includes 3 drills to help you change heights more easily.
Technical class in which we go through using both left and right kicks in combinations – both (1) to confuse an opponent and (2) to beat their defences by using all our weapons.
Tick-tock is an excellent game in Savate – strike/defend/strike/defend etc – which teaches a useful way to chain movements together.
38 min Tactical class. Following up your attacks with another in order to put-off your opponent. We cover in-place; advancing; off-line attacks.
39 mins. Changing range with each strike is an excellent way to confuse and attack an opponent. here we use punches and kicks in sequences that will help you dominate the range.
44mins. Measure and execute your attacks effectively. Using the front (lead) hand or foot twice (double) to control and measure your opponent.
